Online Safety is an important element of safeguarding at our school. Any Online Safety incidents are recorded and managed in accordance with our Online Safety Policy. Parental Controls

Parental controls are designed to help protect children from inappropriate content they may come across online. These controls can be used to limit access to only age-appropriate content, to set usage times and to monitor activity. There are four main places you can implement parental controls, and it can help to set up a combination of these;

  1. Internet service provider who provide your home internet e.g. BT Broadband
  2. Mobile phone operator for example Vodafone or EE
  3. All individual devices that can access the internet e.g. iPad, laptop, smart phone
  4. Specific online services and websites for example BBC iPlayer and YouTube
