Catholic Life and Mission

Mission Statement

At St Patrick’s school we will provide excellence in education inspired by the practice of our Catholic Faith.  We will make the most of all our gifts in our safe, happy and caring school. With Jesus Christ as our friend and model, we will help each other to grow in the love of God, developing self-esteem, and a love of learning.

Staff at St. Patrick's are looking to praise others for acting out the missions, being kind to others, loving and taking care of God's creation, and when this is seen, a sticker is given to help others to see the wonderful role models in school.

St. Patrick's is proud of the love and generosity always shown by our families and staff.

We teach our children to live as Jesus did being caring, giving and loving to others inside and out of school. All at St. Patrick's live the virtues, and celebrate where this has been seen in the weekly newsletter. You will see the termly theme in the weekly newsletter, in classes and on displays in the school.

The termly focus for Spring Term is love.

Throughout the year, our school community comes together to raise money for others. This is done through raising money for charities and collecting food. In addition, we work closely with the local St Vincent de Paul society to collect shoe box toiletries parcels. Leaders always celebrate the generosity of our giving community, including when children have raised money out side of school.

Every week we give food hampers to our families, and provide uniform, clothes, stationary and anything we can to support our families to have a better life. At Christmas time we collect donations and make gift bags for our children who need a little extra. The Parish also generously donates gift cards to school to give to families.

Charity is an important part of St. Patrick's life, and we give to all!
