At St. Patrick's Catholic Primary School, we are privileged as Our Lady Help of Christians church is only a short walk away from the school. We make regular visits for special celebrations in the church and classes visit the church to learn about it and meet with the parish priest, Father John. We also visit at Christmas, Easter, St. Patrick's Day.

All classes from year 1-6 take it in turns to attend a weekly Mass where they recognise the importance of respect and reverence and what is expected of them in a church setting. Our prayer and hymn document help the children to learn parts of the mass, and we encourage the children to take part in singing, prayer and communion when they join us in celebration.
