Ten: Ten Relationship and Health information - Life To The Full Life To The Full is a programme that is taught with a spiral approach to learning in which pupils will revisit the same topics at an age-appropriate stage through their school life, the programme includes teaching about personal health, physical and emotional well-being, strong emotions, private parts of the body, personal relationships, family structures, trusted adults, growing bodies, puberty, periods, life cycles, the dangers of social media, where babies come from, an understanding of the Common Good and living in the wider world. The entire teaching is underpinned with a Christian faith understanding that our deepest identity is as a child of God – created, chosen and loved by God. The programme is fully inclusive of all pupils and their families.

Life To The Full schemes of work slides These slides give you an overview of the structure of the programme with some examples of what the learning will look like. Module one of the unit focuses on being created and loved by God and is rooted in the in the teaching that we are made in the image and likeness of God. At the start of each learning stage, the programme begins with a key Gospel story. Have a look at slide 11 for an example of this. Module three moves to explore working for the Common Good.

Scheme of Work This overview informs you on what is taught in each year group. Some of this content is also taught in science lessons and school will decide on where this teaching is best placed or whether a recap within the Relationship and Health lessons would be beneficial.
