The CATHOLIC LIFE of the School

The spiritual life of the school is very important. We celebrate the Eucharist both at school and at our parish Our Lady Help of Christians, Kentish Town.

Our musicians make celebrations special! We support sacramental preparation!

Worship is a focus for music tuition!
Staff are catechists at our parish church!
We host communion classes for the French church!

Each day begins and ends with PRAYER. We pray before and after meals. We practise Christian Meditation. We celebrate the great feasts, Christmas, Easter, May as Mary's month and the Feast Days of our class saints.

Carols and Readings in our church before Christmas
God became a human baby for our sake.
Stations of the Cross in Holy Week-
The children pray to Christ quietly.
May is the month of Mary!
Making memories lasting lifetimes.

PRAYER for our selves and each other leads to ACTION for ourselves and each other

Children considering when they feel close to God.
Children praying for themselves.
Children praying for each other.
Children helping children.

And ACTION for the COMMON GOOD. Sometimes that is direct. The choir sing for the commuters at Euston. Children visit local Care Homes regularly.

And some times the ACTION is indirect. We raise money for local, national and international charities who HELP the POOR and NEEDY just as Jesus did..

Cake sales raise £s for UK cancer sufferers.
Our art show raises funds for kids in the UK!
Nativity collections go to the local homeless!
In Lent £s we save on treats go to the local poor
Summer projects raise funds for the poor overseas.
Pay £1 & dress up!.. Help kids around the world.

And we don't forget that PARENTS are the FIRST EDUCATORS of their children. Our weekly PRAYER GROUP supports them and the staff!

So that they can help the children to MAKE GOOD CHOICES, PRACTISE the VIRTUES and make the school a SAFE and HAPPY place for everyone!

The virtues are the heart of our behaviour code.
