Age Related Expectations
By the end of Nursery we hope all children will be happily working within 30 - 50 months, with some aspects of 40 - 60 months in there. This means we would expect to see your child confident in most, but not all, of the points mentioned in the 30 - 50 band on the majority of days.
Before the term ended we had already started working on some 40 - 60 skills but 30 - 50 skills need to be revisited to keep us growing and laying solid foundations to build on. Work at your child's pace and don't feel the need to keep pushing.
30 - 50 skills will be revisited at the start of Reception as well!
Remember: Every child is different and there are things your child can do well that have not even be listed on here!
