Welcome to Year 4

Welcome to Year 4 Your class teacher is Mrs Crotty and your teaching assistants are Miss Denton and Miss Arnodova. We are looking forward to an exciting term where we will begin our learning journey in Europe, focusing on and locating the countries, their capital cities, their seas and their rivers. Our first stop will be France. We will be looking at food, population, culture, art and literature. Bonjour everyone. We will read some French poetry and study the works of the artist Monet.

For RE, we will be thinking about how Christians around the world take care of each other. We will consider what we need to do to take care of God’s world. This will feed in nicely to our Science topic which will be learning about rocks and states of matter.
